Challenges

OWNER REPRESENTATIVE
Multi-phased project to renovate and expand the existing full-service Boys and Girls Club in Newtown. Project includes complete renovation of the existing club, civil and infrastructure changes to enhance the flow of traffic and security for club operation. Expansion of the existing commercial kitchen and addition of a career training facility.
Scope of Work included: Negotiation of Architect and Construction Manger agreements, finalization of GMP with Construction Manager. Monthly reviews of all consultant and Construction Manager’s pay applications. Coordination of Owner Direct Purchase program with Construction Manager. Involved in review of design documents at 30, 60 & 90% completion. Providing assistance with obtaining required City, County and State permit approvals including SWFWMD.
