Challenges

OWNER REPRESENTATIVE
Venice Theatre on three of its buildings, and developing conceptual Master Planning for future possible Growth Opportunities: Building 3 will become an Education/Outreach center, with classrooms, rehearsal halls, offices, etc. Building #2 is the Technical Arts building that will be completely renovated to bring the building up to current code. The main theatre will have ADA upgrades and various interior improvements to enhance the patron experience.
Scope of Work included: Negotiation of Architect and Construction Manger agreements, finalization of GMP with Construction Manager. Monthly reviews of all consultant and Construction Manager’s pay applications. Coordination of Owner Direct Purchase program with Construction Manager. Involved in review of design documents at 30, 60 and 90% completion. Providing assistance with obtaining required City, County and State permit approvals including SWFWMD.
